Chicago Bulls guard Nate Robinson is getting a lot of burn these days due to a sidelined Kirk Hinrich and a recovering Derrick Rose, and the diminutive Slam Dunk champion (oh, excuse me, three-time Slam Dunk champion) isn’t letting the starting opportunity go to waste. In the first quarter of Saturday night’s showdown with the Brooklyn Nets, Robinson hit a difficult pull-up corner jumper on one end, then tracked down the quick outlet to Marshon Brooks, getting high enough in the air that he practically elbowed the ball out of bounds. To be fair to Brooks, he did bring the ball down on the drive to the hoop. However, in that same spirit of fairness, Robinson is all of five-foot-nothin’ — though he did block Yao Ming that one time.
